FIELDALE – A home on the 100 block of Canton Drive in Fieldale caught fire around 9:30 PM. Appalachian Power was called to the scene after live wires begin popping near the fire.
The cause is unknown at this time, but the caller stated that it started in the kitchen. Everyone made it out of the home safe.
Henry County Sheriff‘s Office, Henry County Department of Public Safety, Fieldale Volunteer Fire Company, Bassett Volunteer Fire Department and Patrick Henry Fire Department were on scene.
