MARTINSVILLE – Annually, each Martinsville City Public school selects a Teacher of the Year based on criteria outlined in the Mary V. Bicouvaris Virginia Teacher of the Year program. This year, Stephanie Boyd was named the 2020 Teacher of the Year. Boyd is a teacher at Martinsville Middle School. The Teacher of the Year for each Martinsville City school was:
• Jan Turner - Clearview Early Childhood Center
• Jill Holder - Albert Harris Elementary School
• Amanda Jackson - Patrick Henry Elementary School
• Marie Stone - Martimsville High School
