FRANKLIN COUNTY – A 67-year-old Franklin County woman died in a Monday morning crash.
State police say at around 8:02 AM, a 1994 Nissan Pathfinder traveling north on Route 671 ran off the right side of the road, overcorrected, crossed the road and struck a tree.
Police identified the driver as Nila J. Pizarro of Glade Hill.
Pizarro was not wearing her seatbelt and died at the scene, according to state police.
The crash remains under investigation.
