HENRY COUNTY – Thursday at 3 PM, Henry County plans to perform important work on its landline telephone system that will affect calls to county offices. Outages are expected for two to three hours on all telephone lines to the:

  • administration building

  • school board office

  • sheriff’s office

  • public safety

  • public service authority

  • courts

  • communications center (non-emergency lines, emergency 9-1-1 lines will not be impacted by this outage)

Callers that are experiencing difficulty in reaching one of these facilities by phone are encouraged to call back on the following day. If it is an emergency, call 9-1-1.

Voicemail will also be affected by this scheduled outage and callers will not be able to leave messages. Henry County wants to thank you in advance for your patience as the county transitions its telephones to a more cost efficient system.
