COLLINSVILLE – Around 9:30PM Saturday night Police and EMS responded to a hit and run near the intersection of Virginia Ave. and S. Daniels creek Rd. EMS was able to get a tag number and locate the vehicle at a trailer park off Wheeler Ave. The passenger of the gray Jeep Cherokee was transported to sober with injuries. Virginia State police and the Henry County sheriffs office were able to locate the driver. The male driver was arrested and taken into custody. Additional charges are pending. The accident is being investigated by the Virginia State Police.
