STANLEYTOWN – Around 10:30 AM Thursday morning, a woman fled from the Dollar General on T.B. Stanley Highway after shoplifting. The woman fled to a nearby wooden area. Henry County Sheriff's Office responded and began searching for the female. After approximately 15 minutes of the search, the female was located one third of a mile away in a wooded area of Edgewood Drive. After the shoplifter was in custody, Henry County deputies began a search for the stolen items and found multiple.
