Two Henry County children among ten COVID-19 cases identified in district




The West Piedmont Health identified ten new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday evening.


In Henry County, seven confirmed cases of the coronavirus were reported; two males and five females with age ranges of 1-5 years, 5-10 years, 20s, 30s and 80s.


A Franklin County woman in her 50s tested positive for the virus.

A man and a woman, both in their 40s, were Martinsville’s reported cases.

There are now 88 cases in Henry County, with six hospitalized and two deaths, 35 in Martinsville including four hospitalized and one death and 34 cases with three hospitalized and one death in Franklin County.

The number of cases in Patrick County remains at 14.
