Thieves cut through wall of wholesale business in Collinsville to break in

Updated: Feb 13, 2020

COLLINSVILLE, VA – Thieves cut through the wall of a Collinsville business to break in on Wednesday night.

It happened at the Self-Service Wholesale warehouse located on Kirkwood Street.

The owner’s son, Shivam Patel, said in a Facebook post that a “two person or more operation” cut a hole into the side of the warehouse.

They were able to steal between $5,000 and $10,000 worth of cigarette carton inventory, according to Patel.

In his post, Patel said, the thieves did not trip their sensors because they cut through the wall and didn’t break in through the front.

“We had the police come over this morning and they got a statement, so hopefully we find out who had did this cause this whole situation has us sick,” Patel said.
