MARTINSVILLE – On Monday, May 28th, three services are planned at local cemeteries in recognition of the Memorial Day holiday. At 10 am, the 4th Annual
Memorial Day Service will be held at the entrance to People’s Cemetery, located at the end of Second Street in Martinsville.
At 12 noon, the 71st Annual Memorial Day Service will be held at Roselawn Burial Park on Clearview Drive in Martinsville and later that evening at 6 pm, a Memorial Day service will be held at Carver Memorial Gardens located at 2256 Carver Road, Martinsville. All services will feature a short program and guest speaker, and all are open to the public.
