BASSETT FORKS – A recycling truck transporting metal overturned on 220 North Monday morning. The truck overturned in front of Draper Flowers and Gifts on Virginia Avenue. The driver was not seriously injured, walking away with only a few scratches. VDOT reduced Virginia Avenue to one lane causing delays in traffic. Collinsville Volunteer Fire department, Fieldale-Collinsville Rescue Squad and Henry County Public Safety responded to the scene. Virginia State Police is investigating.
