BASSETT FORKS – Around 1 PM Sunday, a white Dodge Ram sideswiped a BMW near the Dodge Store on Virginia Avenue. The Dodge Ram with Pennsylvania license plate number similar to ZLP-2237 fled traveling north on 220. Another driver behind the BMW was able to get the license plate number. That driver stated he believed the driver of the Dodge was intoxicated. Several miles back, the Dodge Ram was all over the road. Virginia State Police is investigating.
