FRANKLIN COUNTY – Weekend storms have caused several road closures in Franklin County.
The first photo shows a car flooded near Callaway Elementary School Saturday.
A woman in Callaway says her aunt came across what looked like just a big puddle. When she started to go through it, the water quickly began to rise and carried her car.
The driver was stuck in the vehicle until water got to around her waist.
The Callaway Fire Department got the driver out of the vehicle.
Always remember when coming across a flooded roadway, turn around, don't drown.
