Martinsville man arrested in undercover drug investigation

HENRY COUNTY – Wednesday, the Henry County Sheriff’s Office concluded an undercover drug investigation into the distribution of cocaine. Sheriff’s Office investigators along with Virginia State Police agents executed a search warrant at 260 Carver Road.
The search yielded a firearm and suspected cocaine and marijuana. The suspected narcotics will be submitted to the Virginia Department of Forensic Science for analysis.
34-year-old Dominique Andre Richardson, of 260 Carver Road, was arrested and charged with:
Possession of a schedule II controlled substance with intent to distribute
Possessing a controlled substance while simultaneously possessing a firearm
Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute
All charges are felonies. Dominique Richardson is currently held in the Henry County Jail without bond.

The Crimestoppers Program offers rewards up to $2,500 for information related to crime. The nature of the crime and the substance of the information determine the amount of reward paid.
