BASSETT, VA – Cross Country runner, Jake Arnold has signed his letter of intent to take the trails at Patrick Henry Community College.
Arnold is autistic, but it has not stopped him from passing other runners on the course.
He's an inspiration to anyone who aspires to achieve their goals.
Coach Underwood was impressed by how much Arnold has grown during his time in the program.
“He's truly a kid that will let nothing stop him and will only get better at the college level,” Underwood said.
Arnold commented on his joy of the sport, “Running lets you get away for a bit and take your mind off things.”
That determinant place that Arnold goes to has helped him achieve his dream and it starts with becoming the newest member of the Patriot's track team.
