HENRY COUNTY, VA – A woman contracted COVID-19 from a known household case making it the third confirmed case in Henry County.
The woman in her 40s was tested for the virus on Tuesday and her results were reported Wednesday morning, Nancy Bell, Population Health Manager of the Virginia Department of Health West Piedmont District, said.
The patient had exposure to a known household case and developed symptoms, according to Bell.
The identity of the woman will not be provided to protect patient privacy.
