COLLINSVILLE – To assist with the recovery from the recent rainfall and flooding, Henry County Administrator Tim Hall has declared a local state of emergency. The declaration will assist the County's Department of Public Safety and residents as they work together to regroup and recover.
County residents are asked to report damage at homes or businesses by emailing stormdamage@henrycountyva.gov or calling 276-634-4660. The following information is needed: Owner's name, street address, brief description of the damage, and a call back phone number. Reporting damage does not guarantee any form of financial assistance, it does provide data necessary should such State or Federal assistance become available.
