BASSETT – Bassett Fire Department responded to a car fire Friday morning expectimg to find a body but found nothing instead. A citizen driving by a church on Pine Valley Road noticed a vehile fire behind the church and called 911. When the fire department arrived the driver couldn‘t be found. If you have any information about this incident call 276-638-8751. The church did receive minimal damage.
