Franklin County Deputy attends D.C. ceremonies

WASHINGTON D.C. – In 1962, President John F. Kennedy proclaimed May 15th as Peace Officers Memorial Day and the week during this time as National Police Week. On Tuesday, May 15th, Franklin County Deputy Ryan King attended this special ceremony in Washington, DC. King said, "It was an honor to represent the Franklin County Sheriff's Office on this day. I had the privilege to also meet fellow law enforcement brethren from the United States and from several other countries". King was able to hear speeches from President Trump and VP Pence.
