Fire crews respond to pickup truck fire Wednesday morning

FRANKLIN COUNTY, VA – Fire crews in Franklin County responded to a vehicle fire on Wednesday morning.

Firefighters from Burnt Chimney and the Franklin County Department of Public Safety arrived to the fire on Booker T. Washington Highway near Liberty Hall Lane at around 7:33 a.m.

According to Responding Fire, the pickup truck was parked along the highway after a passerby alerted the driver that the vehicle was on fire.

No injuries were reported.
