DEVELOPING: Henry County Sheriff’s Office investigating possible arson in Ridgeway

RIDGEWAY – The Henry County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a possible arson of a trailer home located on Lotus Point Court in Ridgeway. Multiple fire departments were called to respond to the fire Monday evening. After arriving, an individual said that he had set the trailer home on fire and also made threats of harming a neighbor. The individual was detained. The SPCA of Martinsville-Henry County was called to pick up a small kitten from the scene. Virginia State Police was on scene to assist in the sheriff’s office. No injuries were reported.
