GILES COUNTY, VA – A Henry County man died in a crash in Giles County on Monday morning.
It happened at approximately 12:51 a.m. on Virginia Avenue, just west of Thomas Drive.
According to Virginia State Police, a 2013 Freightliner Columbia tractor-trailer was going west on Virginia Avenue when it ran off the left side of the road, hit a guardrail, and overturned in the median.
State police said the driver, 69-year-old Larry Finney, of Fieldale, died at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
