On December 10, BTW21 launched another new program called Ask This Old Geek.
This new Community Service Program was developed to provide useful information about various forms of technology, practical for today's use in the home, school, or business, and hopefully address some of the frustration when starting out with new technology products. The show hopes to provide information in an way that is understandable to all.
This weekly programs will present various types of technology which of course would include computers, their components and purpose, and some of the basic software. However, there will also be programs about networks, from setting up a simple home network, to very useful information about how the internet works, including websites and email. In addition, it will cover the differences in internet services available, such as Cable, DSL, Dial Up, and Wireless, and some of the exciting new trends.
The program will not be limited to computers and the internet. It will also bring in the many other technology devices available for communications, entertainment, and business. If you do not have a technical background, but are interested in what is available, or how to get started with some of the technology, this is your program!
Your hosts are Kenny from FixnYourPC and Terence from TMMworld Dot Net Services. The show will run live every Tuesday at 6:00 pm on BTW 21. Make comments, ask questions for the program, or make requests for programs, or view past programs at www.AskThisOldGeek.com |
