The Fieldale Festival of Lights

Begins November 23, 2007, and continues through January 1, 2008 running from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM.

Fieldale Festival of Lights

Drive through the Old Fieldale Iron Bridge (with lights), and the by lights in
Fieldale Park,  up Field Avenue then turn onto Marshall Wall
to see some beautiful lights on and around the Fieldale Community Center.

Children can visit Santa in his forest and have their pictures taken.  Receive Hot Chocolate
and candy canes for free.  There is no admission charge, but donations are welcome at the
Community center.  All proceeds pay for the electricity, materials, and a donation
to the Fieldale Community Center.

The creator of the Lights Festival is Patrick Hawks.  This is the second annual event,
which includes 150,000 lights, three miles of drop cord, 1200 man hours on computer and 1000
hours to setup. The photos included here were taken on November 20, with setup nearly completed.
